Mark your calendar! December 14th 7:00 p.m. Peter Zisa and Friends will present the 13th annual Season of Lights Holiday Concert at Rose-City Park Presbyterian Church – a meaningful and unifying celebration of the holiday season that all the members of the community can attend and enjoy.

The spiritual theme of the program is peace, goodwill, and loving-kindness. Drawing from the four corners of the Portland metro, the program and its featured artists represent a collage of the cultural and faith traditions of the community. In the spirit of unity and goodwill, the program invites all in attendance to give generously to the charities which provide aid and assistance to the needy of the community and work to foster and advance peaceful relations. 

Among the headline performers joining Peter in this year’s holiday celebration are Grammy-award winner Doug Smith, Award-winning singer-songwriter Ilene Safyan & Chaverim (Ed Kraus, Andrew Ehrlich, Steve Cohen, Carlton Jackson, and Peter Zisa), and gospel-blues-hip hop vocalist Lauren Steele, daughter of Portland Queen of the Blues, LaRhonda Steele. This year’s program will also feature Flamenco dancer Laura Onizuka (accompanied by guitarists Mark Ferguson & Peter Zisa), concertmaster violinist Andrew Ehrlich, West-African kora performer Will Dudley, Duo Japanese koto Eri Muroi and Yukiko Yamaguchi.
